Everyone's Welcome to 'Light of the World' - a festive carol service hosted by Bangor Parish Church with music by the Salvation Army band. Light of the World is a Bangor City Churches initiative.

The event (from 4.30pm - 5.15pm) is one of a number of planned events taking place in the City Centre leading up to the 'Christmas Switch On' event at City Hall at 6pm. Come along and enjoy the festive atmosphere, punch, and treats as we pray God’s blessing on the city and enjoy carols played by the wonderful 'Festival Brass.'

Join us as we take some time out of the busyness of life to enjoy food and conversation exploring the Christian faith. Beginning Wednesday 9 October, we look at questions like Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How does God guide us? Alpha conversations are always interesting and relaxed, there is no pressure to change your beliefs. The course is free and there are no unwanted follow-ups after it is finished.
From Sunday 6 October until the end of November, we’ll be hosting our 7pm gatherings. The series will kick off with extended worship and prayer. On 13 October, Laura Coey, Church Engagement Co-ordinator for Evangelical Alliance NI, will lead us as we join in the National Week of Prayer.

This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt. The course is devised by the award-winning debt counselling charity, Christians Against Poverty. Workshop dates are 11, 18, 25 September and 2 October. 6.45pm - 9pm. TREASURED Holiday Club is for children going into P1 - P7. The club begins on Monday 12 and runs until Friday 16 August, from 10.30am - to 12.30pm daily. Our 18-30's Young Adults group likes to get together over pizza, coffee or ice-cream; and sometimes all three! Our next event (walk, beach games and ice-cream) is on Saturday 27 July, meeting at Long Commons Car Park Donaghadee.

In the New Year, we’ll launch Pathway, which offers a stage-by-stage route-map into the fullness of life that Jesus was born to reveal. We begin with Stage One - the privileges and responsibilities of belonging to one another in Jesus Christ as the family of God. The stages will unfold during 2024.
We're running a combined service on both Christmas Day and New Year's Eve at 10.30am (with refreshments from 10am), but will host our Traditional and Contemporary services, at their usual times, on Sunday 24 December and Sunday 7 January.
