Join the Gilmour family on their doorstep as they remind us that God has a plan for each one of us.

What does your week look like?

Weekdays involve a mad scramble each morning to get the older girls to school each day. Jenny and I (Rodney) are mostly working from home so we co-ordinate juggling online meetings with keeping the little one entertained and school pick up times. At the weekends the girls enjoy a good walk beside the sea.

What are you thankful for?

The girls are thankful to be back at school and see their friends again. Although they haven’t been able to attend their usual church activities and GB we are thankful that they have still been able to keep in contact with church, over the summer with the online bible club and now on Monday evenings with Spark. Seeing other people lose their livelihoods has made us grateful we have been able to continue working and God’s provision for our family.

What is God teaching you these days?

God has been teaching us that whilst everything around us is uncertain we can trust that he remains in control and desires only good things for our family in the future ahead. Jeremiah 29 v 11 ‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’.
