Kids & Youth
CONNECT our secondary school ministry
We long to see a generation of young people who are passionate about connecting with God, connecting with others and connecting with the world as they learn to experience and share the love of God!
Every Sunday morning Connect//Life Group runs during the 11.30am service, where we enjoy games, DVDs, guest speakers, group discussion, and sweet treats as we are challenged by God’s Word.
Connect//Social also goes on regular nights out and holds a variety of events throughout the year, including a trip every other month to ‘The Hub’ at Orangefield Presbyterian (via McD’s!!!).
Connect//Serve offers opportunities for young people to serve in the life of the church. Look out for our young people helping serve tea and coffee on a regular basis!
Throughout the year, Connect//Residential offers opportunities to go away on youth weekends like Summer Madness, Ireland’s premier Christian festival for young people, as well as Anois.
Kids’ Church – for primary school aged kids, during the 11:30am service
In Kids’ Church we learn about God and the Bible in a fun and interactive environment using the all new Jigsaw curriculum. Our programme involves a mixture of teaching, prayer, songs, games, stories, crafts, and memory verses and seeks to help children learn what it means to be a Christian and how to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
Children usually join in with the main church service at 11:30am and then leave for Sunday School after about 15 minutes, returning to their parents in the service before the end.
Little Church – for pre-school aged toddlers, during the 11.30 service
Through games, songs, stories, crafts, play and lots of fun, we learn about Jesus and what it means to love God.
Children usually join in with the main church service at 11:30am and then are taken out by parents after about 15 minutes. Children are then collected by parents after the service.
Parent and Baby Area – for pre-toddlers
We have a designated area where parents can take their children and continue to experience the service whilst their children enjoy soft toys and a bit of space to stretch out.
